I just sent this in to etsy support but I'm posting it here too in the hopes that anybody has some ideas for how to fix this. Has anybody else's Pattern website glitched out like this? And were you able to get it fixed?
I run a website through pattern and right now I'm getting a certificate error whenever I try to view my website. When I try to view my Pattern website it's giving a security error in both firefox and chrome, saying there's a certificate error and it can't connect securely and is blocking the site as a security risk. If I proceed to the site anyway, it goes to an etsy Pattern page saying " An error occurred. There's something not quite right in the URL. Please check for any errors in the address bar and try again." despite having my correct website address in the address bar.
I checked my website to make sure it hasn't been compromised, and it's fine, and has the correct A-record and CNAME setup. It also looks fine on the Pattern dashboard on etsy. But it's glitching out when I try to view the actual website. I've had the website running through Pattern for a few years with no problems and haven't changed any settings. Not sure why it's giving errors and not connecting properly right now. Checked it not long ago and it was fine.
I'm pretty upset because I just paid for some social media advertising using that website name along with my etsy site name, and I've gotten a message from at least one customer who was unable to access the site and got the security risk message.
