On my laptop, Chrome saves my passwords.
On my phone (Android 10), something (Chrome or Android?) saves most of my passwords.
I have not been able to log in to the new Etsy Seller app for awhile. I have been logged into it since I installed it, so it must have updated and now it wants me to log in again.
The password I use for Etsy on my laptop is NOT working for the Etsy app! I even opened the password manager in Chrome on my laptop to double-check that I was typing the password correctly (I was).
How do I log in to the Etsy Seller app?
Do I now need a different password for the Etsy Seller app? You'd think if that was the case, there would be a message on the log-in screen ...
It is the same password for the app as you are logging in with your account. Try removing the app and re-installing it, manually input your username & password
Yes, I know it is (or should be!) the same password for the app as on my laptop. This morning I deleted the app and then installed it again. Still can't get logged in.
My app requests my email address, not my username.
@CryzalisDesigns Just for grins, I tried using my username rather than my email address, but that didn't work either.
@PrairiePrimitives: We intentionally do not use the app, but perhaps your issue is related to this https://community.etsy.com/t5/Technical-Issues/Login-page-for-new-Etsy-Seller-App-is-incorrect/m-p/1...
RESOLVED (for now at least)!
I'd run out of ideas to try, so decided to reset my password ... using the same password I had been using. In theory, this probably shouldn't have worked, but it did! And I'm now logged in on the app.
