PLEASE HELP! Etsy has been "processing Payment" for 10 days now

PLEASE HELP! I am pulling my F&#$ng hair out. I am crying with frustration. How the hell do I get any kind of help on Etzy?  It is the only company I found that will go out of its way not to let their customers contact them.

Etsy Release my bloody money!

I have sold my first item on etzy on the 7th of April and it has been over 10 days and it still says "Not paid" as well as "processing payment"  The only email the buyer recieved is the "payment processing" email. What is going on??? I hear people getting annoyed waiting for etsy to release their payments after 4 days, but 10 days???   The buyer has rung her bank and they said they cant even contact etzy, nothing else is holding it up.

I hate etsy, for there lack of customer service. I am moving my business else where. Etsy seemed to good on the surface, great items, great sellers, but I should have realised it is to good to be true.   They dont make it easy to even post a "New Discussion"

The first orders for new shops generally take longer to process.  Also, there have been delays with Etsy regarding processing flagged orders due to the current health crisis.  Typically your only option is to wait for the process to be completed.  Also, keep in mind that when they are referring to processing time that they are referring to business days.

My shop is not new but I've had some issues with orders getting stuck in processing recently and I've had success with reaching out to my customers and explaining the situation to them. Just let them know that you need to wait for Etsy to process the order. If you have to, you can send a screenshot showing them that the order is still processing. You could also screenshot the information from Etsy regarding orders stuck in processing. It's worth noting that my orders did finally process after 8-10 business days. 
 
Hang in there!  Etsy is worth it once you get past the initial setup of the shop and get orders rolling in.  Even with the occasional bugs and issues.

Thanks, but seeing I am going through "Etsy Payments" and they said they would look after it, It is on Etsy, especially when they dont tell us who they work through and they do not give us any way to contact them.  All sellers need to go through etsy, and have no on else to blaim.

Etsy does not process payments. They have 2 contracted payment processing companies.

I am setup for "etsy payments" and etsy say they look after it, and etsy dont tell us who is holding my money, so I see it is etsy holding it up. The Buyers bank said the money has been transfered but Etsy is holding on to it.

How did you find the phone contact information? you do some voodoo magic to find it? I spent over a week looking for any way to contact them and I could nto find a single way.

You're welcome! I found it through lots and lots of digging and research! I don't remember exactly where I came across it but I made sure to document it so that I never have to go searching for it again. Same with the email and chat links.

My shop is new I also have two orders that are processing , one for 10 days also. It is very frustrating not to have a support contact. I have been trying the number for Australia it says go online. 
editing my reply as your link to chat worked! He couldn’t help me but said he would pass it on. I was just relieved to communicate with someone. Thank you.

Has anyone had luck calling ESTY?  Have payments cleared after calling?  My shop is far from new and out of the blue an order on April 15th and one on the 16th came up as "not paid", never had this happen before.  It worries me so I won't ship, not sure how the customers feel, I sent them screen shots of what I see, no one has responded to me.   I know this isn't 10 days like some other folks are complaining about, but I am worried it will turn into 10 days, one order was marked as a gift and I can only assume it is time sensitive then  If these customers had chosen Pay Pal would this have happened?  I was thinking of maybe posting an update or announcement letting customers know that ETSY payments are taking a long time to clear to and choose Pay Pal instead.

One of mine still processing is paypal.  She sent me the payment notice so I can see she paid. It was very time sensitive so I shipped anyway. ( i hope that wasn't a mistake)

I can't get through by calling, I have an order that was made on the 9th April and still says "not paid" and "payment processing". Originally the bank said it was just because of the Easter holidays (understandable), but as of today has still not cleared. I had another 2 orders made in the last 3 days and now show the same thing, "not paid". I got through on chat, and they could not help me. My details have been passed on to someone else so hopefully it will be resolved soon. I've had my store open for just over a month now, and the first 2 orders I received,  I never had issues with, all payments went through straight away. My customers paid by both card payment or paypal and I am receiving the same issue

From my experience, they are sometimes delayed because you are new as others have said, but also you might want to make sure there are no errors in your financial information you provided, like bank numbers etc.

You need to dig deep to find those numbers offered by Furboutique. I found them on the forums easier than on Etsy and have them pasted in a note on my desk top for easy reference.

I think this must be a recent issue with ALOT of sellers. I've had my shop only for a month, and my first 2 orders in my first 2 weeks of being open go through with no worries , and this issue for me has only arisen since a sale on 9th April and now on 2 orders made in the last 3 days.

So, I used CHAT and all they said was that the customers both chose "other" as a payment method.  The problem is that I did not have "other" set as a payment option, never have, the customer service person said I must have turned it on accidentally, but I had not been in settings in years until after these two orders when I checked settings to see if the "other" was toggled on, which it wasn't.  So how could two customers both choose "other" as a payment option when I was not set up to offer that option, and in all my years on ETSY I have never gotten an order before that said a customer had chosen "other", and now two in a row?  I am waiting for an email response, my issue was kicked up the chain, so we will see.  I cancelled one order, the buyer's card had not yet been charged, and will relist and she will use Pay Pal and we will hope for the best.  Still no word back from my other customer

Hi Please can anyone help.

I have received an email from etsy yesterday saying a payment for order >>>>>. is still been processed do not post the order until processing is cleared. i read also that the order wouldnt show in m completed list. there is nothing on the item to say that payments not processed i checked my finance history it shows payment an fees for the order there.  we had already send the order before we saw the email but luckily the shop held it back for me after a phone call to them. how do i know if its  right or not as i added tracking number an marked completed an its in my completed list. i am soooo mega confused how do i contact etsy phone or email as i tried through help but never gives me an option

Etsy sends you an email when it clears.  If the orders showed as open finally and not pending it was safe to ship.   If it made it to the completed order, it sounds like the sale was no longer pending.

If it remains pending you cannot get an Etsy label.  In fact you don't even get the address I believe.  I can't recall.

It's not a good idea to ship the same day as something like this can happen.  You can wait until the actual business day to ship.  The day of order is not a shipping day. Your shipping day would be the next day minus weekends of course.
