The shop manager does not show all orders - please help!

Hi,
My new order is not included in my Orders & Shipping. I received a purchase notification from PayPal but it is not on Etsy. When I checked on my Dashboard > Recent activity - I also saw a purchase notification. It happened yesterday and today it is all the same - there are no new orders on my orders & shipping. Can anyone help me and tell me what I need to do or any information on how to contact Etsy about this problem. Thank you.

go to completed, and check the filter for cancelled. it may have been cancelled by etsy.

I have just had this happen. A customer claims they ordered an item on 13th May, has sent me a screenshot of their receipt with my name on it, yet it has never shown up in my sales record!

@apostersuk Your issue appears to be rather different from the OP's so if you want to discuss it you should start your own thread instead of hijacking this one. The OP appears to have received payment for the order in question. It sounds like you have not received actual payment, just a claim from the 'buyer' that they bought something from you.

It may be a serious lag in Etsy's system migrating the data to its proper place. Since you're synced with PayPal only and you're not using Etsy Payments, that may be the source of the delay because the data has to migrate from PayPal to Etsy  (just guessing). Those of use who are on Etsy Payments can accept payment through PayPal, but it doesn't go into our PayPal account.

It seems to me that the key thing here is that you received confirmation of payment in your PayPal account? Then the buyer paid you and you might as well start processing the order.

BTW, you really need to add your location and your shop policies. Especially the shop policies, because Etsy may not have your back in a dispute with a buyer without them.

@apostersuk  Check your payment account to see if you have been paid.  If not,  the customer should check with her payment processor.  Nothing you can do.
