As raffiki said - it was due to etsy error: they have turned the message feature back on.
The only problem is its still not working.
I have an angry customer right now because I'm not responding to her messages.
You can reply to her via email. Every order has a customer's email.
If it was someone who ordered from you, go to the order page and open that order. Beside the customer name is an arrow with a dropdown menu. At the bottom of that is the customer's email address.
I’ve responded to her by email already but she texted me on message system. There is no way to let her know that I’ve responded by email.
