Hi,

I received buyer's emails but I don't see the orders. This is normal?

This is a SCAM to steal your money. You have NO orders.
A buyer NEVER EVER needs your email to buy an item or pay for an item on Etsy.

When you get a legitimate order, you'll see this on your ORDER page on your shop manager.
If nothing is there, you don't have an order. 

Next thing you know if you send them your email, they'll want to know how much money you have in your bank account or on a credit card and will send you to a FAKE Etsy site to login and reenter that info.

Then those crooks will steal your money.

@MeliLacasse  - this is a scam. Only orders that appear IN Etsy are genuine.

If this a person trying to get your details and sending you off Etsy.

Unfortunately, new shops are constantly being targeted by scams.

visit the forums and keep up to date with the common scams.

You could be targeted by scams. If you don't have orders showing at etsy.com then you don't have real buyers. Don't click on email or message links.

Please beware of scams. Dont share your email address or any personal information in reply to messsges….

Real messages from Etsy will be on your message page but in the folder to the left titled "From Etsy". Scammers are preying on new sellers and hope they are so happy to get an order, they don't notice they are trying to take your money. Move it to spam and be aware you may get more of them.

@MeliLacasse: It is NOT an order - real orders will show up on your Orders & Shipping page and your Payments page.

Were the messages in the "From Etsy" section on your Messages page when checking messages using a browser? If not, they are a SCAM.

Real messages from Etsy are now going into their own section (labeled as "From Etsy") on your Messages page when using a browser or have a colored blurb of text on the Message, saying "From Etsy" if using the app https://community.etsy.com/t5/Announcements/New-From-Etsy-section-in-Messages/m-p/143722497#M1899

Be sure to mark the message as SPAM so that it does not affect your stats (at last report you cannot do that using the seller app only a browser, even your mobile browser, or the buyer app).
