Order duplications affecting algorithm, ongoing 3 month issue

Hi everyone,

I’m reaching out to see if anyone else has experienced a similar issue or found a resolution. Since September, our shop has been facing a frustrating technical bug that has been severely impacting algorithm for our sales and visibility.

Here’s what’s been happening:
• Every Wednesday, we encounter an order duplication issue (same order number appearing across different order sorting pages).
• This coincides with a drastic drop in views ( every Wednesday for few days after) —about half of what we typically get.
• Our listings stop appearing in their usual positions for key client searches.
• By the time things start returning to normal, another Wednesday rolls around, and we’re stuck in a cycle.

This has led to the lowest sales in the history of our 5-year shop. We’ve been actively working to keep our shop competitive by:
• Running Etsy Ads.
• Promoting our shop on various social media platforms.
• Continuously updating our tags, adding new listings, and following current trends.

Despite all of this, this recurring bug undermines our efforts week after week.

What we’ve tried:
• We’ve called Etsy Support every week to report the issue.
• The response we keep getting is that we need to wait for the issue to move up their priority list, but there hasn’t been any progress in three months.

We’re feeling incredibly frustrated and at a loss. Has anyone else experienced anything similar? Was this resolved for you, and if so, how? Or does anyone have advice on how to escalate this to get the attention of Etsy’s internal team?

We are having the same issues.  Come on Etsy fix it, PLEASE!
