I have not had notifications on 2 of the last 3 orders I have received. Fortunately, I was able to get one of these two before being late on shipping, however, one was 10 days late. That really hurts my reputation.
What notification? email, app, in your shop with a browser?
I have no solution to why you are not being notified, but I make sure to check into my shop at least once a day to make sure there is nothing I missed. You may want to start getting into that habit.
@LeatherwoodCountry: You did not specify which notifications you are not receiving, but a quick search would show you lots and lots of threads in this forum about issues with app and eMail notifications. The consensus is that a seller needs to check their shop for messages and orders at least daily via a browser (even your mobile browser) until these issues are resolved.
You are running a business. Would you open a brick and mortar and not visit it for days? Probably not.
I don't get emails on at least 50% of my sales but I log in to all 3 of my shops several times a day - I never miss a message or a sale!
You can't count on anyone else to run your business. You need to do it yourself.
I only get a fraction of the emails I'm supposed to be getting from Etsy - not just sales - also messages,,,,, labels, transfers, etc. It's been this way for years, and I don't depend on them. I get lot of Etsy emails for improving my shop with ads, free shipping, holiday sales, etc.
Today I've had 4 sales so far - no emails. Oddly enough, the app has accurate notifications, for me.
