Open in Same Tab

I had my settings such that I didn't get a new tab opening when clicking on a link to a listing.  Had to reformat my computer and now it opens new tabs every time I want to look at a different listing.  I dislike this feature so much. I end up with a gazillion open tabs that I have to close.  I've searched the internet for an answer with no luck.  There is an add on for Firefox, but it doesn't work.

I'm running Windows 7 and Firefox 100.0.1.  I tried with Chrome, same thing happens.

How silly of me. After I signed into my Firefox account, it magically fixed my issue.  Thanks for anyone that had this answer.

With Windows 7 you will begin to have many issues as browsers move away from being supported by Windows 7.  Your computer is already at risk since Microsoft stopped support more than a year ago.  Hopefully your antivirus is still compatible with Windows 7.

Doh, wow I really messed up this post. I do run windows 11. Don’t know why it changed to 7. The mysteries of the internet.

this happens to me too but it won't fix... its so annoying with all of the tabs that open

sounds like browser settings ... they can be pretty daunting
