On time shipping and tracking incorrect

Hello.

Upon checking on the top seller thing, i saw that i have 1 order without tracking info. The order has the info (Phone support told me) i added it as soon as i sent the order. They told me that its probably because i moved the shipping date myself that it was counter as a late shipping. But in fact it was asked by the customer, i had no choice than to set the date some days later.

Can the statistic be changed since this order shouldn't be counted as late nor without tracking info ?

@PTCBLKSHP: There seem to be two separate issues here. Did you change the date the order was scheduled to ship on before the original scheduled ship by date? If not and you shipped after the original date it will be considered as shipped late.

 

Did you check the actual order to make sure that the completed / shipped date, shipping courier, and tracking number are entered correctly? An unsupported shipping company or invalid / unverified tracking number equals shipped without tracking.

 

Did you check the applicable CSV file on your Star Seller page to confirm which orders Etsy thinks are late or otherwise have something wrong with them? In particular make sure that *Had processing time?* = yes, *Ship by* has a date, *Tracking/label date* has a date, and *Shipped on time?* = yes. Remember that Star Seller dates / times are in UTC not your time zone.

@PTCBLKSHP  In the future if a buyer requests a change that would cause the order to be considered "shipped late" by Etsy you need to make the necessary changes to the order.

Scroll down to the end of the article for instructions on how to do this. Remember, you can only change the date once, so always give yourself some wiggle room.

As for the lack of tracking, there is a glitch affecting some EU shops. This causes the carrier to change, from say your postal service to FedEx. Since the tracking number you entered does not follow FedEx's format, Etsy sees this as no tracking. When Etsy will find the cause of the glitch is unknown.

In the meantime, one shop owner found some success in doing this:

Go in to complete the order.
Choose the incorrect carrier.
Enter the tracking number & any other necessary information.
Before clicking on "complete", change the carrier back to the correct one.

Many shops still go back to their completed orders the next day or so to be sure nothing changed. You have 3 days to edit the info entered on orders & this should include tracking number & carrier.
