On Time Shipping and Tracking dinged for local pickup?

I had an order that ended up being a local pickup. I marked it as such but now because I didn’t provide tracking (for an item I HANDED to the customer) I’m being dinged on on-time shipping? That doesn’t seem to make much sense? This ONE order is now stripping me of my star seller status is seems because it puts me at 93%

Why doesn’t it make sense? On time shipping and tracking means just that.

Yep, that is explained by Etsy in the customer service stats.  Hand delivery is not proof the item was delivered as there is no tracking and Etsy does not have eBays qr code for pick up.

You can had deliver but it will be something to be aware it will lower the chance of star seller and it can even have a shop end up on payment reserve.

Yes it makes sense since those are the rules for over 3 years now that local pickup/delivery will NOT count for the star seller badge.
You have to have tracking to prove you shipped it and you don't.

Etsy has no idea if the buyer got the item or not and you have no proof you delivered it either.
