Notifications on the app

I have my notifications set to ONLY notify me when I have a sale. I have gotten 5 notifications over the last couple of weeks about other things and it's irritating as f*ck. I don't know if this is an actual glitch or if Etsy is just being obnoxious. Is there a way I can fix this?

I have been getting the wrong notifications for weeks now. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app a few times....seems to be behaving today at least.
