I did a total refund dor a customer assuming that the parcel was sent to a wrong address, but finally the customer informed me that he received it and he wants to pay it again " basicilly he wants to refund my refund" is this possible. Can iI cancel a refund and send a new invoice? Or for its part can he do something?
Set up a private listing for the total amount so the buyer can repay you. It will be the easiest way.
In addition, send the customer the invoice or thank you card by post for the repurchase so that you are able to log the order as tracked (you can not use the same tracking details from the original refunded purchase)
Or as I have done in the past when I had a similar situation, make it a digital listing and upload the invoice as a PDF for the buyer to download.
This is an international order.
What about if I relist the item?
he will purchase it but I will not ship.
@GalleryAntiques That's smart!
@sweetbrocante: "he will purchase it but I will not ship" Don't know if you care, but that would affect your Star Seller. A 'reserved' digital listing (so no shipping required) would be a better idea and you don't risk fee avoidance accusations by invoicing off Etsy.
@sweetbrocante If you did that, you must add a shipping/tracking number to the order.
You would be better off doing what I had to do with an international buyer (Australian) who wanted to pay me for an item delivered after I had refunded them.
I set up a digital listing with the title "reserved for [insert buyer's first name or username]" and add a line in the listing description, and uploaded a PDF invoice for the buyer to download once they paid.
Using a digital listing is best, as nothing has to be shipped physically. All you have to do is create a PDF invoice.
I'd invoice them from PayPal if you can.
@sweetbrocante - the digital listing specified by @GalleryAntiques is the perfect solution in this case.
