For the longest time Etsy notifications worked great up until about a month ago or longer. I just lost a sale because I did not get any notifications whatsoever. Not from the app or email. 12 days late and refunded, still not a single notification but Etsy was sure to charge me the one dollar.
I want answers.
So, do you mean you didn't know you had a sale for 12 days before it was cancelled and refunded?
The answer is to check your shop in a proper browser (not the app) every day.
Check your spam/junk mail folder.
Check your email account is still working. Are you receiving emails from other sources?
Check that the email associated with your Etsy account is correct.
Have you had any other emails from Etsy recently? Like the marketing ones?
Google suspended my email account 4 days ago because I have a business account and did not know that gmail is no longer free to businesses. As soon as I found this out I re-established my account with gmail and we are back in business as far as my email account, however I am no longer receiving email notifications from Etsy. I have gone through all the setup proceedures, looked to make sure notifications were not ending up in my spam filter, social, or promotions directories. All of them were good, so where do we go from here?
@M87Prints : Many of the people in this forum can sympathize with your situation, but if look through the various threads you'll see that there are all sorts of issues with the Etsy apps and apparently eMail notifications, too. The consensus is that sellers really need to manage their orders and messages through a browser.
