Not receiving notifications of sales

Has anyone else had a problem of not receiving notifications for transactions? I received a notification yesterday for a sale and realised I'd had another order last week for which I was not notified. I also did not receive notifications for my dispatch messages. I've checked my email on the account settings, there are no messages in my spam or deleted items. Using the Etsy help facility just sends one around in circles.

Don't rely on emails for notifications. Log into your shop once or twice a day.

@Squonkink: There are quite a few threads about this very issue in this forum. As mentioned above, the consensus is that one needs to check their shop for messages and orders at least once or twice a day, preferably via a browser due to the many reported issues with the apps.

Thanks for the replies. It is just very strange, I have been using Etsy for years and it the first time this has happened. I will have to pay more attention to my shop from now on.

I am having the same problem since I downloaded the new app and I checked my notifications and it’s on 

I have an order that is 5 days old I don’t sell that much so I rely on the notifications for both eBay and Etsy 

isn’t the new updated app supposed to be better???

Go under your app in setting and make sure your notifications are on and see if u can update iso I not sure if this works

The issue is missing mail/notifications, an issue/glitch in Etsy's messaging system.
The solution would be to report the issue to Etsy and have Etsy solve the problem in their messaging system.

It is an glitch that goes back years, it continually becomes a new issue to more and more people.

I've notified them 3 times and it's not fixed yet.  I miss my emails about sales, conversations, shipping labels, and even my deposit notifications!  The last one I got was in Sept.  I do check my phone frequently for sales, but also like the emails.

I'm sorry for everyone with this issue, and I admit I feel a little better knowing it's not just me! Like other posters, I've not received any notification about sales, deposits, convos, or labels--just the "marketing" emails, that are kind of moot without the aforementioned important stuff! I also haven't received my notifications from the Sell app, either. First thing I did was check all settings; all notifications on, all addresses in contact list, everything going to inbox, no spam or trash. Just like the OP, I had a sale from a week ago that I only found by accident. I've always sent my orders out the next day after receiving them, so I feel embarrassed that this happened. I wonder if any buyers are aware of issues like this, and take them into account when purchasing/reviewing...?

Side note: I did reply to a staff member on another post about this same issue, letting them know they have another account they can add to the list of complainants.

YES! After 9 years almost 10 years of selling I am suddenly not receiving notifications of sales.  3 times now!  The only thing different is their new bank information demand.  I don't want to be told to not depend on them.  I should, so now I have to check every day if I have a sale and it just makes me hate the new Etsy more! I have checked everything and cannot figure out why this is happening.

I am having the same issue of not receiving notifications of sales and convos.  Started yesterday and was the first time it happened since I started selling on Etsy in 2009.  Etsy chat wants me to contact yahoo.  Yahoo is not the issue since I'm receiving other messages just fine.

Same here.  Its Etsy on Etsy's end.  But they sure are quick about getting money from us.
