I sent an order from my US shop to Israel, and it never showed up. It was sent November 6th 2022 via USPO Priority Mail, and the PO tracking shows it as lost. Etsy, however shows the package was sent in February 2021 and delivered in March to an address in Australia. They obviously have wrong tracking data, but there is no way to contact them about it. Their contact page gives no way to actually contact anyone, it just shows a bunch of non-helpful help notes.
How on earth do we talk to someone at Etsy?

Contact us under Community in shop manager. Follow the steps there.
Clicking on "Contact Etsy Support" simply takes me to a help page. There is no way to actually contact support.

I wouldn't be surprised if a parcel went missing en route to Israel. I've had several lost trying to ship there, and have stopped even trying.
Sounds like the USPS recycled that number, and Etsy has the info for the previous use.
So Etsy support chat is telling me to contact the PO to resolve, as they show the package is missing. Apparently the Etsy Seller Protection Program is a big fat lie.
I take it back. Etsy has refunded the buyer. Apparently the seller protection program works!

if you do email them you *should* get an automated reply and once you do, you must reply to that email above the line of asterisks that their automated best guess solutions did not work. all you have to say is something like “i still need help” send the reply, and it should stay active. it’s critical that you reply to the automated response you receive and don’t send additional emails thinking it will speed things up (this actually slows things down.)
keep in mind none of these links work all of the time. also know they may, or may not work, outside the usa. additionally they may, or may not work outside of non-standard typical usa business hours (m-f & 8-5).
Call or go to your local post office with tracking info. and speak with the supervisor.
You are a star seller. Star sellers have instant contact with Etsy support during the day. The chat icon should be floating around once you open your dashboard, most likely below at the right hand corner.
