My old att address is no longer viable, I have no access, and I have a new email address. The issue is that when I change my email address the confirmation goes to the old address which I can't get to, no longer exists, have no access. I have an order sitting in my Etsy account and I would like to fulfill it and be able to get notifications at new email address. Please advise how I can fix this. There is not a chat or an 800 number that lets me contact Etsy. I won't even be able to see email replies unless I go into my Etsy site because they will be sent to my old address. Please help. Thanks.
I think you may need to fix that from the att end
Thanks, but that is not the issue. The att platform is not viable any longer. I had that email for 30 years and then att changed their platform. It is not an att issues. I want to change my email address associated with my Etsy account. I can't be the first person who doesn't have access to an old email address.
See if Etsy chat is available in your dashboard.
I have looked and looked to no avail. I was hoping it would be an option but I do not see it. I'm going to keep searching. This is so frustrating.
On the change of address page there was I still need help. At least there was about a month ago when I had the same problem with old att account. I hit that and explained and they asked for I’d info and changed it for me within a day.
Thank you. I did get to that page and was able to put all the info in that would confirm it was me asking for the change. I guess I will have to just wait a day or two and see what happens. Your answer gave me hope...:).
I am having the same problem. However there is no I still need help line, and the line that says I do not have access to the old email just takes me to a page that says Get Help but does nothing when I try to click on it.
I thought there were other options for choosing how confirmation is handled ... e.g. mine is via a text with a code that allows me to login.
and like you, I learned the hard way that its always a good idea to have at least two ways of accessing accounts ... most of my accounts now require this.
And ATT may be able to redirect your emails to a new email address.
