This is incredibly frustrating. About every 4th order that I get says "no estimated ship date." However when I open the listing, both a processing and shipping profile are set. (If I look at the listing in 'quick edit' it says no times set, but the listing itself does have a time set)
I contacted Etsy support and their solution is for me to clear my browser/cache/cookies, etc. I suppose I have no choice but to do that. I know other people are experiencing this same "no estimated date" issue ... has clearing the cache worked for you?
We’re aware of this situation and our teams have identified that the launch of Processing Profiles on May 21 caused an issue that resulted in processing time details being removed for a small percentage of listings. We have sent an email with the information about this issue to all sellers on June 5, 2025. Additional details are also available here.
Clearing your cache files is generally a good idea when web pages go wonky. However, given that this problem is on orders, the problem is likely something else.
Are the problems occurring on the same product or on different products?
I’m guessing that this is a technical problem caused by Etsy’s changes to processing times, perhaps in combination with listing variations.
/Shrug It’s Etsy.
It's on different products. And weirdly one of those products came in yesterday just fine, but today did not. I'm in the process of letting go of my forever-opened tabs and resetting everything right now. *fingers crossed*
Yeah. Updating chrome, clearing cache, etc did not help. *sigh*
It was worth trying, though it seemed an unlikely fix.
Bumping this up for more knowledgeable folks to see.
There have been problems with processing times since Etsy introduced the processing profiles. They said they would fix them Tuesday, but nothing has happened.
In short, if you made any changes to your processing or shipping profiles since they started messing with them, those changes are unlikely to be reflected on Etsy, and your actual processing times may be removed - you are not the only person reporting that. I am unaware of a fix at this time.
Remember, you don't have seller protection if your order does not have a processing time, so everyone affected should be screaming at Etsy about this ASAP!
@cindylouwho2 I thought I would be penalized for not shipping on time (somehow I thought if orders didn't have shipping dates, they'd automatically count against me for the shipping badge?) ... but I downloaded my csv and everything is marked as shipped on time. So... I don't know!
I'm just hoping all the rogue orders get delivered on time! (That requires some optimism on my part - In the past week alone I've directed multiple buyers to open cases because their packages are just circling around the country)
@RebecaMojicaJewelry that's good to know! When did this start and how many affected orders have updated on the csv so far?
@cindylouwho2 that's a great question, and to be honest, I'm not 100% sure. I believe I noticed it on Thursday and it's probably affected 6-8 orders total (2 of which came through today). I wasn't doing a good job of keeping track, but starting now I'm adding a private note to each order so I'll be able to identify them later on.
Does it actually say "No estimated ship date" on the actual order? I'm not seeing that, but every few orders I get don't have a "Buyer expects delivery by:" date. So I have no idea what or if buyers are seeing any dates on their side. I can see estimated dates in my shop, but I had issues getting some of the processing times updated. Hopefully I caught them all.
@CanningCrafts Yep, those orders are showing up at the bottom of my orders tab as "no estimated ship date." I just got another order like that a few minutes ago, and went to the listing to edit and it already has a processing time.
I should add that on the packing slip itself the "scheduled to ship by" section is just missing. And one of the orders at the top says "Deliver to" (and "delivery method" at bottom) instead of "ship to"/"shipping method" and I have no idea what the actual difference between "delivery" and "shipping" is supposed to be. (Both are "first class" which I know just GA)
Seeing the same thing, no changes have made to any processing times or anything else on our end.
And it gets better, addresses are not downloading to our shipping software. Looks like this started on Friday May 30.
