No Tracking Numbers Showing on Orders - When they are clearly added

Hi,

I have missed out on my Star Seller status this month due to three orders showing as 'no tracking' on the csv file.

Having checked further, they do have tracking numbers and are recognised by Etsy as having tracking, because I've just finished an online chat with an Etsy agent who could see them.

I understand I need to send items on time and with tracking, but every single item of mine is sent on time and with tracking (including these). I understand that this system works best if I buy my shipping through Etsy, but there isn't a postage service available through Etsy! Even so, I always use couriers recognised by Etsy.

Can someone shed any light on how I can escalate this? Once again, Etsy seems to be making hard work for reputable sellers.

 were you putting in the correct shipper, and the tracking number, before the "ship by" date? and not adding them afterwards?

you are in the UK, Etsy recognises Royal mail

you can buy royal mail labels through etsy

or use royal mail click and drop, and enter it afterwards - I do, they even recognise the QR codes, it doesn't need to be tracked for star seller

My items are too big for Royal Mail. I'd use them every time if I could. 

All tracking details are entered before the ship by date too.

Does it say no tracking, or is there a "no" in the "has processing time?" column on the CSV?

The latter is an etsy glitch they can't fix.

Confused by this, as Etsy offers Royal Mail and Evri labels for the UK. Unless you mean the service you want to use isn't offered. I get that.

The items I sell are too large to qualify for Royal Mail and there is no way on planet Earth I am using Evri again. Far too many losses and damages.

I had this same issue recently though it didn't affect my SS. The tracking numbers for Canada Post labels I buy through an integrated 3rd party shipper show up here but they still say No Tracking. Meanwhile, no issues with UPS or Purolator numbers. Now I know to check and just have to re-enter the tracking number again and then it updates. Weird. Hope you get your star back!

Tracking has to also include the item is in transit.  Just a tracking number is not sufficient,  It must show movement or be accpeted by teh postal service.

@TwinkleToyBox: If the shipping company is supported by Etsy make sure that the shipped date, tracking number and shipping company show correctly on the actual order. Etsy relies on a third party vendor for tracking (and tracking number validation) and uses the data on the order. Have the packages been scanned? Sometimes a tracking number cannot be validated until after the first scan is publicly available. An unsupported shipping company or invalid / unverified tracking number equals shipped without tracking.

That is not true,

for star seller, you get the OK as long as you put the QR number in, with the shipper,

They are only scanned on delivery, and about a third of the time, not even then

but they all count for star seller, as long as they are input by the ship-by date

Did you ask the Etsy agent to escalate this for you?
