Hello!
I opened up my shop not very long ago and I am struggling with views. There is days where I only get 1 view.
Do you have any advice how I can increase the number of views?
Thank you so much!
First, temper your expectations. There are hundreds of thousands of Print on Demand shops on Etsy, and more join every day. You have a lot of competition.
Rewrite your titles and remove the bars: |
Be consistent with spaces and capitalization to look more professional.
Titles should be made of 2 - 4 word searchable phrases ("long tail keywords") separated by a comma and a space.
Don't repeat the same words over and over - it is considered spammy and will cause your item to be downgraded in search. Think of other, more LITERAL ways to describe your item instead. Colour, size, material, shape.
Example:
"Medusa tote bag | Gift for her | Cotton tote bag | Eco friendly bag | Cute tote bag | Women tote bag | Everyday bag"
Better:
"Medusa Tote Bag, Eco friendly cotton canvas, Black line drawing, Everyday casual style"
AVOID broad phrases with too much competition.
Example: "Gift for her" returns 6,053,680 results in the search engine, which only displays 15,600 to customers. You have very, very small chance of being found with that phrase.
NEVER use single word tags. It is a waste of space. ALWAYS use 2 - 4 word phrases.
NEVER repeat words in your tags. It is a waste of space because the search engine draws from ALL of your tags to match the customer's searched phrase. So, you don't need "canvas tote" and "canvas tote bag".
Think of other ways to describe that item - greek mythology, snake head woman, black and white, minimalist, classical drawing, etc.
Well, looks like you do have 2 sales since you opened. I would suggest you remove Batman unless you are licensed to use him.

I wiil take your advice and fix my listings
It just takes a long time to get them seen. Just keep them listed and it will very slowly snowball. Add social media links if possible. Good Luck
Thanks
@Uliteme Not accepting refunds will certainly hurt your sales! There is so much competition on etsy with similar products that DO offer great customer service, so that is where many will go. I looked at your description for the tote bag. It states "capacity 12 oz" That sounds like that's how much the bag will hold which amounts to 1 1/2 cups. Perhaps you mean that it's the weight of the canvas? If so, perhaps correct that. I'm not sure if anyone will pay $12.17 cdn for a 5" x 7" vinyl decal, but maybe.
I will modify the refund option hoping that it will help.
For the capacity of the bag I definitely didn't describe it well.
Thank your advice
Bad Bunny is under conditions and permission to sell items. Not your art work. Batman IP infringement. Medussa is in another Etsy shop here. I would suggest to use your own artwork and stay away from TM and Licensed items.
You may want to add more items or have a sale. Good luck with your shop!
