Can someone please reach out to me about this. On the sell on Etsy app new messages aren’t coming through highlighted or in bold so it looks like I responded to the message but when I look back and pull it up it’s a brand new message. It has caused me to miss several messages within the 24 hour period and has significantly affected my message response score on the star seller score due to a gliche. It’s really unfair now that I do not qualify for the star seller badge this month when I have gotten it every month since it was released. Can someone please reach out to me to discuss this in further depth because it’s really upsetting to be disqualified due to a technical error. I respond to my messages immediately, I’m on the app several times a day specifically looking for new messages. Thank you so much and I look forward to hearing from somebody, Nikki

@DinoSewSuite : This is a seller peer to peer forum, not a way to contact Etsy, if that is your hope (although Etsy does sometimes post here). There are a number of threads reporting similar issues. The consensus seems to be to manage messages and orders via a browser not the app.
Thanks for letting me know that. I spoke with a customer service rep on a chat and they told me to post about it here to connect with an engineer from Etsy so they obviously referred me to the wrong spot.
Etsy people absolutely checks the technical issues section in the forum.
it is one of the ways they find out if there are any issues happening with the site on a daily basis.
that is why so many sellers are told by etsy support to post it here in the forum.
I just got a message from a Buyer, and checked both the Sell on Etsy app and the new blue Seller app - I'm still seeing the bold for new messages.
