This past Saturday, August 10th 2024, I was attempting to create a new listing for a product. When getting to the core details pop up window, I am unable to make any selections. Every time I click the mouse, the window just scrolls up to the top, and I am unable to make any selections. I just closed the window and began to fill in other details about my product, However, when clicking 'publish', I received an error message that tells me I have to fill out the 'core details' section. The same thing keeps happening. I contacted help through the chat option, and was told the team would work on a technical issue they found. A ticket was created and I was sent an email, with promises of updating me as they addressed the technical issue. It is now Thursday, August 15th, and I have received no further communication, and not getting any response through the chat help system either, I've been trying since 9:36 am it is now 4:17pm. I am unable to create any new listings because of this! It is directly affecting my shop, and nobody responds through email, the chat help, or the 'my support requests' page using my ticket ID. What am I supposed to do? It sure doesn't feel like Esty is trying to 'keep commerce human'!! I have no idea what to do, as i have done everything I was told, and am being ignored for 5 days! Please help!

Use the duplicate feature and then edit the copy
I have no idea what the duplicate feature is or was even aware that was a thing, are you able to explain further? Sorry and thanks
I too have had this problem and have been listing items by doing the following.
Just copy a previous listing and alter any or all details.
Here's how
Go to an existing listing
Click on Edit
Choose Copy
A new window will open (close the previous one which is now tucked behind it)
Edit your details including core details if necessary.
It shouldn't jump in the copy
It is a pain doing it this way, but it works.
It may also work in a different browser. I use Chrome, which is when I have the glitch, it doesn't happen with Edge
i have been through Chat, who said they would escalate it. This was several days ago, I have heard nothing since...
Good luck
to duplicate an existing listing:
click on any listing in your shop
and then at the top of the page, click the link that says "duplicate".
then update the pics, title, description, tags, etc... whatever you need to update
and then click Publish Copy.
...
or you can go to your Shop Manager > Listings, click the little gear-shaped icon under any active listing, and then click Copy ... make the changes/updates to pictures, description, etc, and publish
hope that helps
Here is some helpful information regarding duplicating (copying) a listing ... https://help.etsy.com/hc/en-us/articles/360000337307-Can-I-Create-or-Edit-Multiple-Listings-at-Once?...
Is so funny why have customer service when they do nothing because they don't rely and you can call it like you technical support yourself
They apparently have fixed it about an hour after I made this post. Imagine that. I am able to make listings now, thankfully. I still never got an actual response, and seriously wonder if I have been blacklisted from their help, as nobody ever responds to any chat or email I send. At this point, I am wondering if it is even worth it to continue selling on Etsy, if I can get no assistance or response with issues. Currently have a state sales tax question and getting no response for that, either.
I am having the same trouble in December and can't find a way to get help. No additions to my shop have lessened my holiday sales. Did your problem bet resolved?
