New Mix and Match discount function

I really like this new feature but it seems to have a few bugs. #1 - the items are bundled and added into your shop coupon section. They are given just a random # and if you want to change, edit, or cancel the items in the discount (and if you have a large inventory like we do!) you could be clicking for weeks. We need an easier way to identify the coupons such as an option to name the particular discount (i.e. Doulton Melrose dinner pieces A).

#2 - When someone purchases an item you had bundled in a mix and match offering, but does not purchase all the items offered in the mix and match discount, the discount on the remaining items they did not purchase does not hold and they go back to regular listings BUT they still have the discount coupon somewhere in the background meaning you have to do #1 again.

I have had customers buy one item that was part of a bundle, and the bundle coupon is still active.
Maybe you sold out of one of the items. In that case, it would make sense that the bundle coupon was removed.

@Adorabilities: unfortunately no. Someone bought the bundle and one bread plate which was part of the bundle offering but of which I had several. Now that plate is on its own as part of a bundle the rest of which has been bought and I cannot add the other pieces in the pattern to it. It seems a glitch. I really would like to be able to name my mix and match coupons manually for easy find and fix.

could someone please explain to me what the heck this 'Mix & Match' thing is all about? I've yet to hear about it except for the couple of posts I've read on here.

@FabVintageHomeFinds  I just looked up Mix & Match in the search bar.   I found a few threads about it from over the past week.  I'm off to read them now.

Go to the Marketing section of your shop.  There is information there on how to set it up.  You can select up to 3 listings that when combined, shoppers can get a discount that you choose ranging from 5% to 60% off.

It could be a test or a slow roll out, because I've heard about it for a couple of weeks and I just got it.

I agree that it would be very beneficial if we could name it especially if we have many of them set up.

Hi, I created several "mix and match" combinations in my vintage shop, mainly for tile sets, but they do not even show for customers. I tried on chrome and also on my Iphone, both not being connected to this back office. I have an active " buy 2 items get 10% off" offer at the same time and that does show, as usual.

I have talked to Etsy Support today and they are aware that the Mix and Match sales are not showing on the Etsy app. Etsy engineers are working on a solution, but there is no specific time frame for a solution.

I placed a paragraph in my listings telling potential buyers to use laptop or tablet browsers. Edge browser is working for me.

Thanks @TinLizziAntiques for the update - the app has never really worked well or in live time for me on the iphone but they are not even showing up on the desktop now. Also, Etsy, please LET US APPLY A NAME TO OUR CREATED MIX N MATCH COUPONS for easy finding later.

It is a good initiative, however it appears that about half the time customers can not see what is bundled at a discount.....sometimes they will show when viewing an item, other times nothing. Needs to be fixed if any customers are to use the function.

I noticed the same, as it was very difficult to see just what items were in the 'mix & match'. So I put all of mine in a separate section {Mix and match Sale}, and am waiting to see if this will help. Fingers crossed...

I created a few discount bundles today. I don't see a way to edit the bundles. I want to add an item to one of the bundles and don't see how to make any changes at all. Any ideas?

I have many of the 'bundles' in my other shop and had the same problem.

I had to take off the 'bundle' and then make a new 'bundle' with the items I wanted to have in it.

I have never used this feature before. I don't normally do sales. However, my curiosity got the better of me and I set up a few bundles just to see what would happen. I hope everyone comes back here and posts about it if they have success selling using this feature.

I have quite a few set up in my other shop and I've had a few orders with it. So far I really like it.

The only thing I have noticed is that if only one item in the 'bundle' is purchased, I have to delete that 'bundle' and rework it. Some I put into another bundle and some just stay as a One purchase for now.
