New Listing Tool

Has anyone who is experiencing the problem of not being allowed to create, copy or edit listings had success with getting it to work?  I did contact Etsy.  Afterwards the tool worked for one day.  But I am now unable to use it again.  

For reference, I have updated my programs, used different devices and tried different browsers.  In addition there have been several Etsy shop owners reporting the same problem.  So this is not an issue that can be resolved on my end.  It is an Etsy program glitch.  

I've very nervous that I will no longer be able to publish any new works once Etsy retires the older listing tool.  I'm hoping others with this problem have had more success.

The new listing form has been retired.  I'm happy to share I can use the new form now.  Does it work like it supposed to?  Not yet.  The "Publish Listing" option is still not available.  I can now save a listing by clicking on the "Leave Site" option.  I was thrilled to see I can at least save a listing.  But there was some missing information.  I had to go back into the listing and re-add some of the same information again. The second time it did save after clicking on the "Leave Site" option.  This is time consuming.  But I can use it now which is a large improvement.  I imagine improvements and fixes will continue.

@NancyQstudio  I wonder if you agree with the following. Maybe there should be a blurb next to "Leave site" (that we need to click this to Save a Listing). Because it's the opposite of what most people would think you should do (I would never have thought to click "Leave site" in order to Save a Listing). I would think I'd lose everything.

@ChillwolfArt I wouldn't think that's how it's supposed to work?  Leave site typically means information is not saving because a choice has been made to leave.  So yeah,  I agree it is the opposite of Save.  Since the form is working for many sellers adding this type of information might cause even more confusion. 

I feel this is a glitch within the program because multiple sellers are having the same issue. And Etsy has stated this is a problem when I've shared screen shots with them.   The good thing is, it's getting better! So they are working on it which I imagine is not a simple task. 

Previously I couldn't always  get the form to save my listing and now I can.  So I am hopeful this problem will be resolved in time.  Now that listings can be saved, this specific problem is not an urgent one such as some of the other problems sellers are having with it.   I imagine it has moved down in priority which is understandable.  But in order to have a resolution Etsy needs to be aware it's still an issue.

I recently lost €10 thanks to a new and exciting glitch of the awesome new listing tool.  Etsy got in touch apologizing, saying they are aware that the tool effed up a bunch of listing prices, but are they gonna refund me the money?

Can you please tell me how you reported a problem to Etsy -- I'm not having any luck -- all I find are forums.  I received the message from Etsy stating that there had been a problem with updating listing prices and it should now be fixed.  But I have several listings that are still not working correctly and need to report them -- just not sure where to do that.  Thanks for any help you can provide!

They should be waiving some listing fees for this.  We aren't getting what we're paying for when it takes this amount of time to list. 

Not only that I had a listing that refused to show the correct price (it showed $30 less and no editing worked!! I wasn't going to take a loss on sale just because the listing form was being glitchy) I had to copy and relist to get the right price to show thereby having to pay the listing fee TWICE just to get the item to show correctly

Having SO many hassles and having to cancel orders due to their glitch. UGH the new listing format(s) which now in mid-July has changed yet again...at least on mobile app where we do most of our listings! The new seller format has SO many "can't do that anymore" occurrences!!! And the constant changes have required way too much time, energy, and use of staff to locate Etsy's listing format errors...and the format keeps changing! Reality is we cannot afford to designate staff time to do that with our 2000+ inventory! Is there HELP on the way, Etsy?
