The new message notification sound is so loud! It is only the New Etsy app notifications on my phone that I have this issue with. If I turn down the notification volume on my phone so that the sound doesn't knock me out of my chair then I can barely hear any of the other notifications on my {Samsung}phone. Anyone have any suggestions?

I have the same problem with the insanely loud notifications on my phone from Etsy, and all other incoming emails are fine. I have the sound so low on my phone because of this. ETSY HELP
You should be able to set which notifications make sound - I have all mine on silent except order notifications, and I set a custom sound byte for that one since I didn't like the one that the app uses.
@AutumnHollowStudio Wait - you don't like the cha-ching!?! How can that be!
@PoppyDove lol I do, but the cha-ching in the seller app was weird sounding. I did a google search for the sound clip of the notification sound from the old seller app and downloaded that one to my phone and I use that.
Ah ha! I haven't compared the two.
Love the ka-ching! So much fun. Wish we could use our own sound bytes eg. Pink Floyd's Money
Agree - its so much fun. The way I bolt to my phone when I hear mine is probably the fastest I ever move for anything.
I often have an earbud in my ear, sometimes in both ears. I listen to streams and other things all of the time. (I use earbuds so much that I have two rotating pairs—I don’t watch tv anymore. I’m seriously concerned that my hearing may get damaged from the insane volume of the notifications. My ear is bothering right now for about 20 minutes. If I happen to be around others, surely I look like I’m having a heart attack. It is way too loud!
