Need URGENT: permanently suspended

Hello everyone, I found one of my shops closed permanently without a reason.

The shop in question is: YourDreamsYourLines

In the meantime I am proceeding with the appeal.

I am very careful on this platform and always kept everything in order.

I sell digital products created by me and have never had any problems with them.

How can I resolve this as quickly as possible?
I also had to fulfill orders.

@YourDreamsYourArt: It is hard to speculate on Etsy's reasoning without knowing exactly what you were selling in the other shop, but very technically this shop has some problematic listings - technically the "add 1 person" etc listings are not Etsy legal because they cannot be purchased on their own (you should be setting up variations at different price points for painting with two people, with three people, etc). Perhaps the other shop also had some technical violation(s).

I didn't know this was considered problematic.
I haven't found any documents about it.

Since they are digital products, if I enter the drop-down menu it is considered as a physical product to be shipped.

If you have two shops selling digital items, Etsy may consider them too similar.

It is against the Terms of Use to have shops selling the same or vastly similar items.

Note that there is generally no “quick solution” to shop suspension. We are only other sellers and can do very little for you.

thanks, more than anything I would like to understand the motivation, if it was done by mistake or if I broke some rules.

I definitely don't sell copyrighted products or anything like that, they are just custom portraits.

I've seen a bunch of sellers have multiple stores with digital products since 2019 and they have quite a lot of sales.

So I just want to understand.

Just because you see other sellers getting away with breaking the rules doesn’t mean you can as well.

Now that you have been informed of the rules, you can follow them.

I think @PlatypusDream  meant that was against the Terms of use to sell similar items in multiple shops. @PlatypusDream  didn't say anything about you using  copyrighted material.

Update:

After completing the complaint form I was contacted by a member of the Trust & Safety team who will look into the case.

sure, but I have never found among the guidelines "you can no longer have shops selling digital products"

@YourDreamsYourArt   You cannot have more than one shop that sells the same or similar digital items.  So if you sell cards in one, you cannot sell cards in another.  If you sell wedding digital in one but have other digital (strictly no wedding at all) then you can have two ships. 

In the TOUS is the information.  Shops have to be distinct.  They cannot sell the same items.  

I looked at your two shops still open and they are different.  One is for people only and the other one for pets.  So two distinct.  The question is the other shop.  If it had elements from these two or were very similar that is why the 3rd shop would be removed.  It too would have to be distinctive from the other two.

Hopefully Etsy will agree but if the three shops are not distinctive but have overlapping digital this can happen again.

the items I sold in the closed shop were totally different, they were portraits with minimal lines.

The problem lies in communication, no warning arrived, no communication.
I had sold in that store and if it really isn't in line with their policies (and I repeat that I can't find anywhere that you can't have more than one store with digital items) I also have to have a way to download my data/sales to go and pay taxes and be in compliance.

The shop in which you are posting from has couple portraits and the other shop as well. So both offer the same thing.

Please let us know what happens. I would like to know if selling digital items in more than one shop would be allowed as I could not see a definitive answer. Just "very different" products.

Digital items can be different.

• Pets / Animals

• Planner Printables
• Art Prints
• Clipart
• Cut Files
• Resources for digital design, drawing or painting

But I agree with this:

I can see that as being different. If one offered digital images of natural like sunset and the other shop offers digital images of let say buildings or wedding themed images. 

To me, it's a bit of a grey area that would be nice to know from Etsy what would be acceptable.

For years I had two jewelry shops, two distinctly different styles, and Etsy said (back in the day when you could actually speak to a human) that it was fine to do that.

I found your shop "Your Dream Your Lines"  Those are only line drawings.

Very different than what I see in the pics on the reviews on your shop, "Your Dream Your Art". 

However, on your Insartify shop, looks just like your shop "Your Dream Your Art"
