I recently ran into an issue and need to contact Etsy support. I noticed that I can receive a call, but when I try to input my New Zealand phone number, the correct format should be xx-xxx-xxxx. However, Etsy only allows me to enter x-xxx-xxxx. This means I'm missing a digit, and the support team won't be able to reach me.Can someone help me?
@ShopwithLito : Using a browser at least, on https://help.etsy.com/hc/en-us/requests/new?segment=selling#issue_sell_manage_listings-callback there is a country code drop down that includes New Zealand.
They could allow me enter 8 digits. My phone number includes 9.

@ShopwithLito Are you entering a Mobile or Landline number?
I am in Australia and have been able to request a Callback using (dropdown pefix) +61 XXXXXXXXX (9 DIGITS) with NO spaces. My Mobile is 10 DIGITS with a leading 0. I omit the leading 0 and the Callback request is successful
when you phone internationally, you use the + country code, and drop the leading 0
personally, I would use the e-mail log every time, call and chat just seem to read from scripts
I have dropped 0, but I still have 9 digits to enter. There is only space for 8.
are new zealand phone numbers different amount of numbers, depending on what part of new zealand you live????
this is the info I have for new zealand phone number
Here, “+64” is the country code for New Zealand, “09” is the area code for Auckland, (drop the leading zero) and “8765432” is the local number.

My phone number is 02-xxxx-xxxx.
If the number of digits varies, do you have a friend or family member with 8 digits in their phone number who would let you “borrow” theirs as a workaround to the limitation? I’m not sure how quickly a call back arrives though.
