My sale is showing on my desktop, but not on the app.

I've not used the app, but heard it can be glitchy.  You could try uninstalling then reinstalling it.  Or use a browser instead. Which rather stinks; the app is used by many.  And if it's glitchy for this during this or that function, I always think how many buyers won't stay to try to do workarounds.

@PsychicTarotSpells: There are many many threads in this forum about issues with the apps. The consensus seems to be to check your shop for messages and orders at least once a day using a browser.

Your issue (and many others) seem to be related to how and when the Etsy Apps synchronize or don't - that is why it sometimes works to log out and then log back in or delete and reinstall the app. These actions appear to force the app to get fresh data.

I had an order an hour ago and it didn't appear on my phone at all. An order last night did. What is going on with the "new" app? I have a feeling this app should not have been released as it's clearly not up to the task.

Had an order Saturday and never got an email— does Etsy not do that anymore or another glitch?

I'm not sure about the new app (not using it yet), but on the old one you need to refresh the orders page.  The problem is this is hidden.  So put your finger on the screen and move your finger down to pull the page downward.  It's the same idea as how you get the search box on many phones.  You'll see the refresh message once the page moves downward.  Once you let go, the page will refresh and show your current sales.
