My photos are still all distorted like yesterday error

Hello! Yesterday there was an error with the listing photos that show them distorted, they fixed it but now they look again in my shop, can someone assist me? My products don't look good with this error.

the ones that were not square, and I did use the etsy tool with, are distorted

I take note to this, if the problem is not solved soon I think I will have to re-size all my photos again without crop..

Hi everyone!

I'm having the same issue and I even tried cleaning the cache, but nothing. All my images are stretched narrow. Are there some changes going on with images ratios? Is now an image ration of 1:1 preferred or rectangle? It seems like images are shown 1:1 square in the App now and the ones of mine that are rectangle are on a grey background...

There is another post about this issue that is closed because it should have been resolved. I guess not:)

You are not alone. It is happening in my shop too. There are several posts on this problem.

1. Are you referring to the thumbnails only or all photos inside the listing?
2. Where are you seeing the issue: search results, shooting or listing manager?
3. What device, app/browser are you seeing this on?
4. Do you use 3rd party integration? E.g. Your listings are linked to a production partner or you use a stock management tool.
5. When did you first notice the issue?

I looked at the first 3 pages of your shop and the thumbnails look fine (Chrome - desktop version, on Amazon Fire tablet mod.).

@Amaradorn its a known issue with several threads, don’t know how to send you the link. @FabioMcMustache has been looking at it and said it was resolved, but it is definitely not resolved.

This is ridiculous. I left Shopify for THIS!?!?!? All of my thumbnails are off. My pens look like chubby little toys. I have notified 200 customers to join me on Etsy and I'm now getting tons of messages, texts and emails about the distorted pictures. Beyond angry...........allegedly they fixed it on Wednesday. What are our exorbitant fees going towards----clearly not for technical expertise! UGH!!!!!!!!

I'm having the same issue, it makes me look incompetent. I hope it gets resolved soon. I checked some of the links posted in here and they all look good on my end so fingers crossed its the same for me.

My daughter was experiencing it yesterday. Then she told me they seemed normal again.
