My account was suspended today, without cause or provocation

Anyone else? I got a pop-up that said something about needing to update my personal ID, which I immediately did. I have had this Etsy shop for over 10 years and have had my United States drivers license on file since day one. I have a registered LLC with a federal EIN number. I received. Absolutely no notice of any issues. All of a sudden my account was just suspended without any cause being cited. Is anyone else having this issue today???

@TheMatchMuse - This is just a total longshot, and I only mention it because of research into vintage. I see you send books of safety matches (which are really nice btw!) How are you shipping them? A woman I know who is a supervisor at a PO told me about the following restrictions. I am sure you are aware with how long you have been here...like I said, a longshot. They are cracking down on a lot of things that have been being mailed.....

Safety matches have treated match heads that will only ignite when struck against a specially prepared surface like a match book, card, or box. Safety matches must be sent via ground transportation and cannot be mailed internationally.

You cannot send matches internationally so Etsy may be taking the opportunity to have a closer look at your shop.

Your production partners are not the usual.  That area is for POD manufacturers who are making the items according to your designs.  

The sending of matches may be the other issue.  USPS Packaging Instruction 4B | Postal Explorer   To send domestically your matches need to meet certain requirements.

There should be an email.  Check your spam folder.  If none arrives after 24 hours, the use Contact us under Help to send an email to Etsy.

The other may be if you qualify, Etsy is required by the Inform Act to have verified US seller information on file.

I would suspect it has to do with the LLC not matching up with the EIN or bank account or your name. I have heard of many problems like this when sellers need to verify. Try to get a mod's attention. Sorry you are dealing with this, very frustrating.

Your account is not suspended. You're on vacation.

What do (did) you sell? Your reviews show matchbooks and matches. Are these matches flammable? I guess they are. If so, they are prohibited on Etsy.

Your account is not suspended; Etsy placed it in vacation mode while verifying the information you submitted. The same thing happened to me—within 2–3 hours of my information being verified, my shop was back on track. The entire submit-verification process took about 24 hours.
