Hello all,

I think my account is back and I'm not sure about it, I need some help please, the first time there was a message in my Dashboard I had to submit an appeal and after I sent it they didn't accept my request, and they didn't even respond, and I did it once Another and the same problem but now there is no message in my Dashboard, but now I only have this message in my payment account "To reactivate your account, update your credit card information and make a payment." Is this true or do they just want me to pay them and they will suspend my account again, knowing I will pay either way.

@HandicraftByMarouane  well, your shop is closed, with the Etsy banner that you are "currently not selling on Etsy".  If you've followed the instructions to update your card and make a payment, then I guess you could try this link -

as I said I have file an appeal and I think they accept my apologise and now I need to know when I'll pay this amount, my account will work normal or I'll have to file an appeal again.

Your account is not back. 

Are you seeing this message on your Dashboard when you log in?  Do you owe any fees?  If so, then reactivate as instructed and pay what you owe and your shop should reopen. 

However, if you are getting this information by an email then it is probably a scam as there are lots of scam messages which look like they are from Etsy.  Never click a link in an email, always log in to your account.

No, It was in my Dashboard but now I have just this msg in my payment account " Account suspended due to lack of payment ". I know these scammes very well, the msg is above my store only etsy can do it, but I need to know when I'll pay this amount is my account will work normal or I'll have to file an appeal again about the previous suspend.

Sounds like you need to go to your shop manager > Finances > Payment Settings > Billing. Then check your credit card has not expired. If it has, you will need to add a new card and set it as the default. Then you can remove the old card. Then you need to pay your outstanding bill.

Only do this on the Etsy website (etsy.com) via your shop manager. If anyone sends you a link to another website (even if it looks like Etsy), then it's a scam.

I noticed that your banner says: 'we're curators of Moroccans stories'. My first thought was oh no - a shop that is not making or designing their own items. When I read again, I thought ... is the banner meant to say that the shop makes rugs that tell a story? I'm not sure, but if you reopen, you may want to rethink your banner. And of course, make sure you are selling items that you make or design yourself.

This could be a new scam because obviously all these scammers read the forum and are up to date on all that's happening here.

So when they see shops being closed by Etsy, and shop owners like you posting about it here which you did a couple of weeks or so ago, they realized that this could be a new income stream for them; they pretend they are Etsy, and they tell you they'll reopen your shop if you just give them your CC number and pay some money.

Of course that won't happen so I would be very careful if I were you.
