My Star Seller was removed and I have a 100% on everything!!

Hi everyone...I am so frustrated =(

My Star Seller was removed and I have a 100% on everything!  All I can do is etsy chat and there is nobody that has responded to me since 10:00am.  I spoke to someone by luck yesterday and she said that I qualify for my Star Seller badge, then I never heard back from her.  I cannot find anywhere to contact anyone her on etsy.  This is so irritating!  I have been a Star Seller since it started, and now it is gone for no reason =(

What should I do??

Are you looking at the previous period? You're missing the messages badge.

No...I spoke with Etsy chat yesterday, and she said that I should have my badge, but for some strange reason it is not there, and I never heard back.

I would put more faith in checking the CSV in lieu of what you hear on the chat line.

Even if they agree that they made an error and you should have it, from what we've read here they don't go and install it manually afterwards.

I know this is of no comfort, just wanted to let you know.

I appreciate the reply.    She told me that it would be reinstated, but I have yet to see it.

Have you tried to download your message history file? Or could it be something in your Spam folder that you missed?

I qualify for all three badges (smooth shipping, speedy replies, rave reviews) but they're gone since 01/01. I contacted etsy through chat - the 1st time (Jan. 7th) they said I should wait about a week and see what happens. I reached out to them again today - they said it's a bug and I should report it in the community.

Whaaat? In the community??? There's not an official thread to the technical issues support?

No, because if you watch long enough, you'll realize that 99% of things people are adamant are technical problems are just user error or not understanding how the platform works. So, they've removed direct access and now you can post here and if the mods agree and deem it an actual technical problem, then they'll forward it along.

@NotYourUsualTee   Because you did not make $300 (USD).  Even if you meet but do not have the amount, you don't get the badges.

Also Converse may object to the shoes being painted.  They have their own so I suggest removing the word Converse.

ArtDollsbyJD thanks for the reply. There are shops out there that have only one or two of the gadges - I don't understand why I don't have the Speedy Replies badge when 100% of my messages are replied to within hours. Same for shipping.

I've had the Star Seller badge for 13 consecutive months minus one, and I've had various badges before that, selling what I sell. 

Sure, I understand that's no guarantee - Converse & Vans might be an issue. But IF it IS, why doesn't Etsy say so?

And if so, why did that person in the chat said I should have the badges, there's nothing wrong with my shop?

Also, may I ask, how can you know my revenue?

@FreshLavenderDesigns  Chat can't make changes to star seller, it's an automated system. Did you recheck your messages to make sure all of them were answered or placed in spam from non-buyers.  Once you fix the criteria the badge will be reinstated that includes the $300 threshold. If it's a SS glitch you posted in the correct area of the forums.

I had that problem for January, and when I downloaded the shipping CSV file Etsy did not input one of the tracking numbers for some reason (I always use Etsy labels).

I contacted live chat, they opened a support ticket, and my SS for January was reinstated a couple of weeks later. I didn't expect them to do that, but they did.

This has happened to me to this month, I sell digital downloads so always have got the 2 badges and star seller, this month I got both badges but did not get star seller, I contacted etsy and they said to post in here

That's something they do that we call 'passing the buck'.

Did you do any listings on physical form that you needed to email?  If you did a custom on physical format that can count against you as there is no tracking.

As to chat well they tell people to come here because they really don't have the answer.
