My Shop is invisible!! Please help

Hello, 

Now I'm really worried and it's horrible that there is absolutely no support from Etsy side and I can't contact anyone, I feel left absolutely alone with my problem, even tho it's an Etsy error. 

I now tried to find my shop in an incognito window and couldn't find it!! Like it doesn't exist!!

I wrote this message yesterday, unfortunately didn't get any help besides couple of tips how I can improve some little things:

"I run an active shop with 149 products in German and use Etsy Ads. On the 29.04, I added additional translations (French, Spanish, Dutch) to 19 of these products. The main language remains German, and English was already added as a secondary language.

Since then, my entire shop traffic has dropped to almost zero – despite active Etsy Ads. Even products that were not changed are receiving no clicks or views.

Please help me if there is a technical issue with indexing, visibility, or ad delivery..?

@ShenysArt: You can always test to see if your listings are indexed by searching within your own shop, and yours are. Searching for your shop name in site wide search also works.

Using an incognito window proves nothing. The only benefit is that other users of your device cannot see your activity - it does not stop a web site from being to identify you.

Because of "personalized searches" you can NOT rely on anyone's search results (particularly your own) to define how your listing is ranked. There are many many factors that affect listing placement and the relative weight of each factor probably changes constantly. Even exact word matches to your title no longer ensure that you will appear in search. And when the algorithm keeps seeing that you are not purchasing the items it shows you it will eventually stop showing those items to you.

Ads only help if your listing meets the search requirements to rank high enough to be considered for an ad slot. Then, and only then, Etsy will "auction" off the available ad slots to those qualifying listings that they think will generate the most revenue for them. If your listing should or should not match the search query is an entirely separate discussion.

The only thing that I still don't understand, WHY is it IMPOSSIBLE for me to find my Etsy Shop in search?? Why I can find other shops when I put their name and I can't see mine? For the info: I could find it in the past.

I'm not talking about the names of the products, but my shop. Can you find it?

Ask for a shop critique.  There are some things that can be improved on.  Since this is not the section of the forums for that can't comment on what I see as possible areas.

Etsy simply runs the venue and they offer tools to help but in the long run it is the seller who needs to find the best ways to promote their items. 

Lack of shop policies may be hurting your shop.  Etsy does tend to push back shops that do not have shop policies among other items filled out.

Thank you so much!! I'm really not a pro here, I need to check all of the policies as well as the names for my products (been told that they are too similar - which is true). So lots of work coming up! And ones I've done it, I'll definitely follow your advice and ask for a critique of my shop in another chat section.

I just searched your shop, and it shows up.

Type your shop name into the search bar.  "Find shops containing shenysart" comes right up.  Click on that.

As I described earlier I did exactly that and couldn't find ANYTHING.

@ShenysArt  You would think a search with your shop name would bring up at least one listing with your shop, but that's not how Etsy does it.  

When we search for a shop name, "Etsy Picks" is at the top.  Then, just under that line, they have in small print, "Did you mean the shop, ShenysArt?" and your shop name is clickable.

Friends and family looking for your shop?  Send them a copy/paste link.  Don't tell them to search for your shop name.  They will get lost, quickly!
   Buyers don't look for your items by your shop name; they look for them in search when looking for the item.  It's more important that your items return in search.  That's why it's so important that your titles, descriptions, and tags are strong.

Only with "sheny" (no capital letter and no complete name) Etsy found your shop. So I don't understand.
