Hey everyone,
My other store AliceAndTheBunny has been hacked.
On September 4th I have noticed a strange convo message has been sent to me. I have disregarded it as spam and didn’t thoroughly read it at that moment. Then within an hour or two I have opened my Etsy sellers app and noticed a dozen spam messages with weird links have been sent out from my account to other Etsy sellers. I realized it was one of those “Etsy support” inbox message scams and immediately wrote Etsy support about it, asking to do something with my account. I also asked them to contact me via another email address if possible, because I thought maybe my email has been compromised as well. I was not sure whether the hacker was able to see that chat communication or not. Within minutes, I have received an email that my account has been permanently suspended.
Then within a couple of days I have received an email from Zetsy, asking me some questions to confirm my identity. I have answered the questions and got no response for another week. I have been waiting patiently, avoiding to open unnecessary support requests as per advice I saw here on Etsy forums.
However, the response I have received after one week was just an email saying they noticed my support request went unanswered and asked me if I still need help. I responded to that email, confirming I still need help.
THEN I woke up to new emails to my original address – a case opened by the client and another email, saying my store has been permanently suspended (again?). I have also received a generic email from Zetsy, saying I should file a claim through my account (that I cannot log-into).
Pardon my language, but what the heck is happening with my store?? Did they reopen it without notice, no password change or anything and then closed it again within a few hours? Can I expect a competent overview of this case? This is so frustrating
Just want to add that during this period of suspension I sent out all my outstanding orders (found addresses in transaction emails from Etsy). I also took all possible actions to protect my devices and connections using help from cybersecurity professionals, from windows reformatting, bios update, additional virus and browser protection and even a new router at home just in case.
I am trying my luck here, since Etsy's support emails have not been clear or responsive.

Howdy,
I've forwarded your concerns to our support team, and they will be looking into it. Moving forward, they will handle it directly with you, so we're closing this thread.
Zesty? You cancelled your CC, contacted your bank, changed password, ran virus check on your computer right? Then it sounds like you gave all your info to a scammer again.
"...I don't understand the actions from support team..."
There is no such thing as "Zetsy". If you've spelled that correctly (Zetsy), you've likely been talking/responding to a scammer.
