My Etsy shop was hacked into this morning and since then I have had no access nor insight into the shop or my emails. They have access to my bank account and my Facebook. It shows that someone from out of my state logged into my account and either changed the password for my shop or had changed the email. I am very defeated, and my options are very limited with trying to get my shop back. I have contacted Etsy Help Center more than a million times and I have zero responses from them. I am disappointed that all the emails that I have associated with my Etsy shop are being diverted which does not allow me to reset my password or anything else to try to get my shop back. This a very urgent matter and I want action into getting my shop back to happen right now. Please, if you can help me in any way, I would appreciate it greatly.
Thank you for you help
@Herrmoustache
Only Admins can help you, if they notice this post.
We are only other sellers, so can't really help you.
Thanks!
I've tried everything. My emails are getting diverted so I can't restore my account that way.
Only Etsy can help you recover your account. Don't send them an email a million times. That won't help. Every time you send a new email, it closes the thread you are working on and opens a new one, which kicks you to the back of the line again. Send one email, then wait for a reply, which can take 10 days. When they reply, if their reply does not solve your problem, click the I Still Need Help link at the bottom of that email, and so on until someone solves your problem. You may get several canned responses before you get a real person to look at it.
If you can get the link to ask for a callback, that is the fastest way to get a real person, but that isn't always available, and only during office hours if it is there at all.
The Chat function can't help you with this issue. All they will do is send Etsy an email on your behalf, which will close your thread again and start over with a new one, again.
Most likely the hacker is on your computer, rather than Etsy, and has stolen all your logins and passwords. Run a virus scanner immediately on your whole system. Then change all your passwords everywhere you have one.
Please tell me what I can do while I'm waiting on etsy to respond. What if someone places an order? I just don't know what to do. I have changed all password that I can think of ran virus check on everything in the house. I thought maybe someone here could help me or at least give me a starting point to getting my shop back.
I reported your shop as "HACKED".
You could most likely have friends and family with Etsy accounts do the same. It is another way to get Etsy's attention.
@ParrisDesignShop I just did the same thing as Platypus. Hope you can get this sorted asap. As a precaution, can you remove your c/card or get your bank to suspend it. Etsy will not transfer funds without a valid c/card.

etsy may have responded a million times to the hacker.
since they changed your email address to theirs.
and etsy would have contacted you at your original email address to let you know someone was changing info on your account.
did you click on weird links recently on etsy or through your email or any other site.
Thank you so much
@ParrisDesignShop , Only etsy can help you. @CoquetteBath gave you the best chance for reaching someone for help with this issue. Click on the link and send him a message, he is an etsy administrator. You should also contact your bank and make sure they know what happened and that your bank account might be at risk.
ok thank you
This is what I thought, that Esty has been contacting me but it's going to the hacker. I clicked on something through my email.
@ParrisDesignShop I am so sorry this is happening to you. Excellent advice from others. Also, please do report this to the police; this is a cyber crime. Too much of this garbage going on.
@ParrisDesignShop I don't know if you are still waiting for assistance. I see Admin HerrMoostache did not respond to this Thread.
There is a new Admin in the following Thread (which he addressed and closed). His name is not easy to remember (many numbers and letters). But if it helps you in any way, maybe you could "at" this Admin.
