My Account has been suspended, and I provided the neces proof that was verified. Now what?

It has been almost 3 wks now since my account was suspended due to a misunderstanding regarding my legal name (my name with the IRS is hyphenated, but I don't use that hyphenated name on my driver's license or bank account).  I have provided proof MULITPLE times and I keep getting the message to update my account, which I cannot update because it keeps saying "Pending", but when you look further on the dashboard, all the documents I sent and resent have been marked as VERIFIED.  Yet my account still remains suspended.  I am not getting anywhere with trying to reach an actual person (Etsy's Motto of " Keep Commerce Human" in full effect here or what?).  The support request I filed was closed, so WHAT NEXT!!!!

This is so frustrating and disheartening.

Everything has to match your ID, the minute one thing is off, it seems to mess the whole system up.

Keep replying to the 1 support ticket with "still need help" eventually someone will read the messages.

Your shop does look open though, just no listings listed.

As someone with a double barrelled name, I do not get the choice to leave the hyphen out of my name as this is my legal name as it would appear on my passport, driving licence, bank accounts, tax numbers.. Is this not the case in the United States?

Yes, people can see the shop, but not my listing. I tried to reply again on the support ticket but they closed it and I can't seem to open another. Gosh, if I had none that hyphenating my married name would cause such an issue almost 30nyrs later, I would never had done it. When I opened my bank account and got my driver's license,  they ask how you want your name to appear, so I leave out the hyphenation now. My first name is hard enough for people to say so...

Etsy wants commerce to be human again, yet they are strictly using BOTS to review and approve things. 

Do you know of a direct way to contact them? I even tried to appeal and it says my shop has no issue to appeal???????

Does your birth certificate have the hyphen? Then in light of what is going on today, I would use the hyphen.  Computers are quite literal.  And your first name is the the hyphenated form not the single form.

Contact Etsy via email and ask them if they did verify your information or does the lack of hyphen mean it goes from verified to not verified.  I don't know as computer systems are quite literal.

Thank you for replying.  Ii followed the instructions that the automated system sends and sent all the documents ask, but still keep getting the same message.

Do you know of a direct email address I can email?  The ones I have found don't work.

I have the same thing going on. It is really causing undue hardship and it is very frustrating. I have submitted everything they need and nothing changes....
