More information on the GET5 promotion, please!

Does anyone know when this promotion starts today (Friday 15th)? As well, I did a test to use the code and got an error message to update currency to USD - I am in Canada. Why would this be? Does not provide ease of shopping and will frustrate buyers. Why can you not purchase using code in your own currency (pounds, CDN$) - someone from Etsy please address this! Merci!

Ugh...come on Etsy - get it right for goodness sakes! Seems like it may be aimed at all buyers (US, UK and Canada) purchasing from US shops ONLY maybe? I will try this theory and get back to you?

Chat says they will announce it here, in the forum, when the code is live for everyone. "This afternoon" is as specific as it gets.

I didn't even get the email, I've just heard about it from everyone else. All seems very vague and haphazard!

It's showing on listings right now, I just went to buy something and the promotion popped up with the code.

@thatregina  for some reason the blue code is not showing on the product pages of my shop. :0(

The yellow banner on the sales pages say "everything over $25". The blue banner says "minimum $25 order". Which is correct, please? As a seller of less expensive items, I don't want to mislead my buyers. Can they buy two $15 items, or does it only apply to items over $25, as the banner says.

The order must be $25 or over. It doesn't matter how many items make up that $25.

Sorry if I'm being dense, but where do the customers enter the code? I read through the terms for Etsy coupons, and it says to enter during checkout. The only place I see when I check out is "Shop discount code". Am I missing something? I have a customer that has reached out to me and I'm trying to help, but I can't figure it out in my own cart when I try to use it. Thank you!
