Missing Paypal in etsy payment

Hello,

I've opened a shop a few weeks back with Digital laser files. Unfortunately my shop is lacking the paypal payment, although my Bank Account is veryfied. 

I tried to get in touch with chat agents a few times, but in the beginning they just kept on telling me to get in touch with paypal, as it's my paypal Accounts fault.

When I tried to explain, that etsy has its own paypal Account they blocken me and I can't even start a chat anymoren.

The Situation is extremely frustrating, as there are more than 50 items in carts, that cannot be paid for. This means I am missing out on a lot of money (as is etsy). The problem seems to be a rather common problem in Germany and France (as was communicated in this community).

I would really appreciate some help!

Using chat?  Better to use email as chat doesn't seem to be as familiar with Etsy payments.  Sometimes there is a lag in a shop being put into Etsy's Paypal account.  Use email and tell them you would like Etsy's Paypal account to be activated in your Etsy payments. 

PayPal users can still use credit cards.

And you don't know what form of payment is used unless the buyers contact you.  

I'm not sure if PayPal for Germany has changed practices and that might be the reason.

Thanks, but etsy paymemt is activated. It's just, that paypal is greyed out. As BagmakerSupply answered, it seems a common problem  in Germany. So keeping Fingers crpssed

@BluemchenMarie: You are hiding your location on your shop home page so it is hard to be sure, but if you are in Germany the PayPal issue has been reported numerous times recently.

Hello, yes, my shop is located in Germany. This really is so frustrating, as there is nothing one can do about it! Thanks for the thread I am so disappointed with etsy support!
