Messenger disappeared after I created a FB business management account

Etsy suggests creating a business management account in Facebook to to create ads in Etsy that will show up on FB. The moment my business management account was verified, Messenger on FB vanished. Anyone know what I did wrong or how to fix this issue?

Sounds like a FB issue and not an Etsy one. I have a shop FB page but have no idea what "business management account" is??
