Messages to customers are not showing on the order sidebar pop up on the right hand side. If I look under sent messages, it shows there, but it is showing no messages under an order that I sent, twice ( because I thought the first one never went through, not showing either one).

This issue is happening still. When will it be fixed? I'm having to email some customers to be sure they get the message I sent and go back and forth to the old message thread for orders of repeat customers and to input information I need to complete orders to the new order. How will this effect Star Seller badge? I'm having to do extra for something that should be an easy fix.
Yes, I emailed a buyer earlier.
I had the same. I contacted chat and it seems fixed for now.
I just sent a message to a customer a few minutes ago and the message is not there. I sent it twice thinking I did not hit the send button. Guess I'll have to contact chat myself. Thank you for your input.
@AnnaleasFinest Thanks again. I contacted chat and it seems they resolved it this morning for me. I can now see the messages on my orders.
For us, it also appears to be "fixed" and the last old message thread seems to be the one attached to a new order. And it appears that old orders also have this same thread attached to them.
@BagmakerSupply Same here. I can now see the previous messages with the repeat customer on the new order. I hope that is the end of this as it was a bit time consuming trying to get resolved instead focusing on getting orders done.
Not fixed for me no message details from past buyers in order details on orders fly out so I need to contact support to fix? they have to fix it? oh no I feel the life being sucked out of me now lol
So the fix is to contact etsy? cringe
I contacted Etsy chat late last night and they seem to have fixed it for me now. They may need to do something directly to your account in order to resolve the issue as I had to send screen shots to show the issue I was having and they escalated my case. Now this morning it seems my issue was resolved.
