When I respond to a first time message, I get the green pop up with the “Nice Work ..great impression blah blah blah etc” but after that it reverts to the blue bar that says it’s a new message from someone reaching out for the first time.
I have two messages like that now and don’t know how to fix it. help?
I spoke to chat about this last week and they said they were aware of the bug, but that messages are being registered as sent and the blue banner should disappear after 48 hours. I've found just that, so you should be fine. I would have thought they could have sorted this by now however....
Nobody else having issues with messages?
I’m concerned it will impact my Star Seller status….what will happen if I mark these messages as spam, once they’ve been answered?
Other people are having this issue too. I don't think it means anything other than the blue message is staying longer than it usually does.
Download your message CSV file to check to see if they are marked as sent. If that shows sent then you are fine.

I think they're working on something with the response system. I got an email at 2pm today that a customer had made a request for help. I usually have a response time of less than 1 hour, but when I opened the message, it already had a YELLOW notice that I hadn't responded within 24 hours. The message had probably been there for 1 day, but it only appeared the next day! I'm curious to see how this will continue, especially with regard to the response rate for the Starseller status.
