Hi,
I got my messages disabled on Etsy for sending messages. As a new seller, I reached out to a bunch of other sellers to ask, with whom they ship orders, but little did I know I would get muted for it. The question is- what can I do about it, how long does it take, and can support help me?
Thanks
Sending those types of unsolicited messages is considered spam.
More than likely the sellers you contacted reported you for sending a spam message.
You can't do anything about it, you have to wait until Etsy allows you to send messages again.
It might be a week, might be a month and it's doubtful support would help since you violated the TOU's.
You were muted because sending too many messages in a short period of time is considered spam. You will just have to wait until your ability to message is restored.

Support won't help you since they expect sellers to follow the rules, one of them is not to send spam.
And only Etsy knows when they will un-mute you, some folks write on the forum trying to get help as they were muted for over a month (but we, other sellers, can't do anything about it).
It's okay to ask questions about Shipping Companies on the Forum and the next time you have a question of this sort go here and don't message other sellers.
Have you read Etsy's rules?
