Hello, I am the owner of "Keysudar Boutique" store. I'm having trouble sending messages. My clients ask me questions, but I cannot answer my clients. The error says "Bummer, your messages have been temporarily disabled. Please contact support to have them reactivated. Also, see the FAQ and Community Guidelines for more info about Messages"
How can I solve my problem? Can you help me?
I don't know about this issue but you can send messages to customers e-mails if need be. Just put About your Etsy question, order, etc in the subject line and keep a record of it. Don't add alot of extra info so they don't feel harassed but answer their question...
Etsy temporarily disables messaging if you've been sending messages unsolicited messages. Have you been sending messages to people who've favourited your items or shop? The only people you should be messaging are actual buyers.
Usually this happens when a seller sends a LOT of spam messages to shoppers that have favorited their items or contacting their buyers about sales, coupons after an order is complete.
No one can help here.
You'll have to wait it out from what I've read 1-2 weeks before Etsy lets you send messages again.
@KeysudarBoutique You're claiming to be the manufacturer. You name your shop as your production partner in China, but your shop location is in Turkey. Your production partner needs to be added.
@KeysudarBoutique: Did Etsy Support or the Help Pages send you here? This is a seller peer to peer forum, and should not be considered a way to contact Etsy, if that is your hope (although Etsy does sometimes read and reply to posts). As mentioned, the most common cause for having your messaging disabled is sending too many non-transactional messages (read spam).
