Recently a buyer sent me a message about one issue but he sent me the same message in 2 different conversations and i have answered only in one conversation because the message was exactly the same. I solved the issue within 1 hour but my message response rate has decreased because i didn't answer in the other conservation by the same buyer, the same question, the same time. This is the first time which i didnt answer within 24hrs and actually i answered and help my customer. I think it's too unfair to lose the star seller emblem because of this. Can anyone give me any solution?

send the second message to spam , and going forward set up automated messaging

You have to respond, in some fashion, to every first message in a thread. It does not matter if someone sends you 2 identical messages, a blank message or you were the buyer. You have 3 choices for every first message. You can answer within 24 hours, you can mark as spam, or you can ignore it and kiss star seller goodbye. Illogical or not, those are the rules. Mark the 2nd message as spam and hopefully, in a couple of days, it will update your message metric.
