Message response rate not showing

I'm a fairly new seller, but I have had some interactions through messages. But I have no message response rating, just --%

What is up with that?

Were any of them initiated by you?  I believe if you initiate the messages there would be no response (at least not for SSB purposes).

It's been a long day and I'm tired and hungry - if I am wrong someone will correct me. (which is okay by me).

@Stendersales: The Star Seller metric is NOT all new messages but only the first message of all new incoming threads during the applicable three month period.

This is Etsy, everything is glitchy!

I was awarded the messages and dispatch badges, as I have 100%, for August. Today they have disappeared!! And apparently I must try harder! Honestly this place is a joke, you have to laugh or you would cry.

For your sanity I would suggest ignoring the badges and Star Seller.

@TwiLdCapitHog  you have had no reviews since Feb 2022 - that means you are not eligible. You have no badges at all.

@NanaLetha   I am well aware that I do not qualify for the SS badge. That is not what I said!

I was awarded badges for dispatch and messages. They appeared on my shop 1st of August, with a "well done" message on my star seller page. Just those two badges NOT the star seller badge.

Today the badges have gone. And on my star seller page it says I didn't meet the criteria of 100%. Yet my stats show I did!
Personally I couldn't care less about the star seller badge. But something is wrong when Etsy award the single badges only to remove them 13 days later.

No I don't have any recent reviews posted. 1st I had to push out estimated delivery times due to strikes, as far as possible for international orders. Etsy changed the review system so reviews can only be left after the furthest estimated delivery date. So my having to push them out had a significant effect.

Now I can't change my delivery profiles because if I do Etsy will remove "other" as an option for my shop. Grossly unfair as so many shops are given the ability to use "other", but Etsy have decided to remove it from my shop.

But as far as the OP post, as I said Etsy is glitchy!!
