Message notification, but no message

Hi!

I'm sorta new to Etsy, and it's very possible I am the one making a mistake, but I recently ordered something and I tried contacting the seller. Etsy is telling me there are a total of 3 messages in our chat, but there's only mine.

Did the seller reply to me and I can't see it? I have tried using PC, my phone and the app and none show me any messages other than mine.

In your Etsy Messages, did you look under "Sent"?  It should show the Message where you are the Initiator.

I did, but it still only shows my message - and it still shows the notification saying there are 3 messages in that chat, the most recent one being 1 hour ago, but I can only see mine

That is indeed odd.  There is another Thread from today, where the OP was having a Message issue.  I'll see if I can find it for you.

i've had this happen to me (it also just happened now) when i've submitted a help request. it will be like a day or so after i submit it, and i'll think it's the seller replying to me.. but i open messages and it's just my original request, somehow moved to the top of my message box lol..

weird!
