My Message Seller says "Typically responds within a MONTH" for over a year, despite being Star Seller for 6 months or so.
I have tried everything to get this fixed with Etsy. Live Chats, phone calls, emails, Forum posts, and each time I have to go through the same thing and I'm told the same thing:
"The status will update itself. Keep responding quickly and eventually it will change itself"
Should that take a year? or more (I think it's been more than a year) It's been over a year now and it hasn't changed. I was just on the Live Chat with "Emilie" who promises she will "share my concerns with the right team to fix this problem".
This is a legitimate bug that needs to be fixed. I wonder how many customers decide not to contact me because they don't think they will get a response from me for a month?
PLEASE FIX IT ETSY!! I know I'm not the only one with this problem!

So frustrating! I'm not diminishing your issue, but at least yours says a couple days as opposed to a month! I'm sure that had to do with some Spam message from over a year ago!
oh that sucks.
yes i went to your homepage and when i click on contact it does say you typically respond within a month.
i have never seen that before for any seller.
It's nice to be special, but in this case, not so much! LOL!
Etsy Chat folks told me to post here to get the problem looked at. I did this same exact thing in September 2021 and nothing happened then, either
Wow, Etsy support in action!!
maybe @FabioMcMustache can help by seeing this thread.
Does tagging like that alert someone to a post? I haven't used the forums enough to know!
i have only used it for sellers who have been hacked.
and enigma is helpful in forwarding to the right department.
this one is important too because if i had to message you with a question and it says you typically respond within a month... i would not bother to message you.
i would just move on!
so they do need to have some body look into this because sellers are losing sales over it.
plus you have been waiting for a year.
Ugh... see, I've been trying to convince myself that the message didn't matter and I can't do anything about it anyway, but to hear you say you'd not even bother to email me if you saw that message is a little heartbreaking. It does matter and who knows how many others have this same problem. I know it's not just me. Arrrrrgh!
