Anyone else not having success marking an order as a gift?
Both places for me without success in the order management with the checkboxes and in the individual orders, even though I get the message "Gift status updated successfully"
Browser or app?

I apparently got one the other day. Noticed it 3 days after I mailed it.
It just started not working this weekend.
PS it is an option for the seller. When you select it, the packing slip will not show the price to the recipient.
I had it the other way round a few days ago - thought it was just a glitch - I couldn't UNmark as a gift even though it was being mailed to the person who'd purchased it, so they got the nonsensical 'enjoy your gift from Etsy!' message on the gift packing slip.
Most of the 'gift' orders I receive are going to the buyer, not directly to a different recipient. I just ignore the fact that it's a gift receipt and not a regular packing slip.
@nemeton Maybe it was a gift for a family member and they didn't want the price to show.
Yup, I'm having the same problem.
I knew about "marked as a gift" but I just saw in one of my orders( shipped 5 days ago) "Gift teaser added" I don't even know what it means. Is this the same problem you're talking about?
I don't think so. That's something Etsy rolled out a while ago, at least before the holidays last year. That's more for people that bought late and the present is not going to get to the recipient on time. It's basically sending them a digital card showing what is on the way.
Well then it's something different...and strange anyway since the customer didn't ask for anything and this "gift teaser added" was not there yesterday. (Not a big deal ) thanks
Yes, I am also having this issue. I've never had a problem with it before, and I noticed it yesterday. I have items that are gifts and the only receipt I can print is one that includes the price.
I'm having the same problem on PC. I can't mark any order at all as a gift. The instruction is there but it doesn't work. A customer has ticked gift teaser and added a message but only the standard shipping note prints. I can see their message if I choose to print the order receipt as it's listed at the bottom, Earlier I could view the shipping note and order receipt together but now that has gone too and I have to untick the shipping note in order to see the order receipt instead. I have no idea how to give the customer the gift service they have asked for and no idea if the gift teaser will be sent.
I'm having the same issue. I can't mark an order as a gift and print a gift receipt.
Windows desktop, "Mark as Gift" no working. Went through all the trouble shooting. Ended up just personalizing the invoice with no prices, but the gift receipt is slightly more cute.
"Mark as Gift" and "Unmark as Gift" are both broken for me. This started a few days ago. I had to manipulate the receipt as a workaround.
One week later, it still isn't working.....
Two weeks later, it still isn't working and has not been acknowledged as an issue. Christmas is coming....
I contacted Etsy support about it and got nowhere. They told me to try certain things, none of which resolved it, and now they are no longer responding.
I have had a support ticket open for two weeks. Every Seller NEEDS to open their separate Support Ticket stating marking as gift and unmarking as gift isn't working. If they receive more trouble tickets, they'll realize it's not just 1 or 2 sellers. Thanks

When will this issue be resolved? Have the engineering team and/or the coders looked into this issue? I can't imagine this would take them over a month to fix. It is adding a lot of time to our work days having to find work-arounds. 80% of my orders are gifts. Please, please, please understand this is a major issue - it's not some tiny little thing. It's very time-consuming for Sellers. Thanks for your assistance, and please check with them, and let us know.
I got the exact same reply when I reported the issue, come on ETSY how hard can it be?
