We have had about 8 customers in the last 48 hours that are unable to add to cart. We have variables and require some custom text for personalized orders. Never had issues like this in 4 years. Anyone else experiencing this?

If they haven’t all the places in then it will not let them put it in the cart. The one they missed is in a pinkish color so they should have seen it though. I had no problem once I filled in everything. I use my iPad but do not use the app.
I'm experiencing the same issues via the App. customers reporting that add to my cart option disappears the moment they choose a variation.
No idea how many customers I've lost so far who don't contact me.
It won’t help everyone but if they message you suggest they don’t use the app or see if it needs updating.
Ive had the same thing. As a buyer, it has happened twice in one week. Shopping from two different shops. I couldn't add more than 9 items to my cart. The most previous time was last night. I figured out how to go around it.. it only happens in the app (I still don't know why). So I went to the website and it worked fine. I have no idea what the problem is. So weird...
Firstly--you are posting on a 2 year old thread--chances are no one will "notice" how old it is and will be answering the OP--not you. I suggest you start your own thread as this is probably a NEW problem, not the old one.
And I think there is a limit of 10 items that can be purchased in a cart so you may have just hit that line. I really am not sure on this as I olny add items as I intend to buy and usually not that many at one time.
I encoutered that, too. A customer contacted me yesterday that she cannot checkout. I wrote to Etsy support, they replied me very shortly, but he said he checked from his end, there's no issues their side and everything is right. Then I contact customer to try again, and then she said it works.
But I am not sure that is because Etsy support checked my shop and it turned work, or I edited the listing affected it. As I have edited and saved again my listing from the Etsy seller app according to one advice from another seller who also met this issue from another thread. As I did this before Etsy support helped me... So I have no idea.
But I told him that some other sellers also met this issue when buyers purchase from etsy app.
We are encountering the same, starting to have messages coming through from people who can't add our items to their basket. There are variations on all our items. I was wondering if it could have anything to do with people using VPNs but not convinced now.
My customers are not able to add to cart... what's going on??? I'm losing business!!
