This is a known SCAM , do nothing , you dont have an order.  

Contact Etsy support to make them aware , this way Etsy knows to remove there access ( if they are trying to scam you they are trying to scam others here too )

There is a long thread called  SCAMS what to look out for here in the forum , look this up.

I blocked my debit card and reported it stolen as soon as I realised what had happend.. I dont know what I was thinking.

I am all new to etsy and just stated up my store. So I guess i was a easy target. But now I haved learned.

I am glad you came here to check. Unfortunately, there have been ongoing scams on Etsy for weeks now and Etsy has yet to warn new sellers. You are not the only one.

yeah. I got an email with some confimation.  And I didnt even think one second that it was a scam, until i had put in all my information and pressed confirmed there was some sort of error. Thats when I thought this was really weird and it didnt look right at all, and when I wrote to the person I got a really mean message back saying : ahahahaha. what happend? someone stole all your money ? 

Thats when I closed down my card... so

I think as my card is now closed they cannot use any information to take any money..  

Hope etsy warns more people about this.

omg.  disgusting.  wtf?? why is etsy so loathe to put an announcement on everyone's dashboard?  don't be surprised if this post gets deleted.

@zslgeunt  I am so sorry; this is becoming all too frequent around here. With new Sellers as well as seasoned Sellers. The email scam is a big one, as well as scammers posing as Etsy Support.  These A$$hats believe they can move freely here. And Etsy has not publicly warned Sellers (via Announcements and/or Shop Manager).
Seller bradgoodell compiled a list of ongoing Scams (the links posted above by Sellers DesertChains and HouseofWhisperingFir).  This list of Scams is growing; their Thread is under Managing Your Shop Section.  Unfortunately I can see where it can easily be missed.

If you are a new shop owner, I would not use my debit card on Etsy! Or maybe you can put a limit on it for transactions.  There are so many scams for new shop owners, it is crazy.  (just my opinion)

But now I have learned. And my card was secured before with bankID etc..:) 

Its a first for everything apparently!  I was just not aware there was so much scamming going on here.
